The location was great. It was right in historic Durango. But the room was small. No microwave. We asked for a tub, it had a tub the the stopper didn’t hold water. We wanted to use the hot tub and it was out of order the entire trip. The breakfast was poor. I wanted some hot tea in the morning and no tea, only coffee. We decided to leave early because we didn’t like the hotel at all. But no refund for early departure. I would not return.

Staff was super friendly. Loved the free coffee and tea in the morning, Parking in and around the area was fine. The only downfall was the temp in the room. They have a swamp cooler, which is probably pretty normal for Silverton’s accommodations. I’m sure not very many buildings are air-conditioned in this town but was a little warm at night. It did cool off but took a smidge of time. Delightful place.

We had a great stay at the historic Leland House. The place is a block from the main street making it central but quiet. It was very clean and easy to communicate with staff. We borrowed the bicycles for a scenic ride along the river. Highly recommend.
